Estremoz Castle is the result of the restoration of the magnificent palace built by King Dom Dinis for his wife, Queen Isabel. Top-quality building materials have been used to fit the building out with the finest décor, which includes museum pieces. Wonderful views may be enjoyed out over Estremoz and the vast Alentejo plains from the private palace gardens that are surrounded by battlements. A total of 33 rooms on offer on the air-conditioned complex whilst amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a lift, a safe and a currency exchange facility.
