This Pousada is housed in the former Convent of Chagas de Cristo in the historical village of Vila Viçosa. It offers very characteristic accommodation, with its intricate themed rooms, full of legends and tales. The Pousada has kept intact the convent cells, the retreats and the oratories built by the nuns and guests can even savour the exquisite convent recipes. There are 29 standard rooms and 2 double suites, as well as 3 twin suites and 2 luxury twins. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service and a hotel safe. It also features a games room, a bar and a restaurant and business travellers will appreciate the conference facilities and WLAN Internet access.
