Good hotel with basic facilities
I stayed at Premier Inn Hotel Glasgow Charing Cross for two nights. Having stayed at the other Premier Inn Hotels before and i can say that the hotel met my expectations. It has a convenient location with good public transportation links. The accomodation hotel has to offer is comfortable with clean en-suite facilities. Food is good and the bar offers a wide range of drinks. This is a good place to stay if you are going to stay in Glasgow for a short time and looking for comfortable accomodation for affordable prices. Recommendable!

Excellent service
I stayed as a single female guest and was impressed with the hotel's attitude to single female guests. Do not be put off by the lobby, the hotel is up to the usual premier inn standard. I do not usually post comments, but have to comment on the fantastic service provided by all staff at this hotel. This was not only my impression a couple staying within the hotel requested to see the manager to pass on congratulations on the fantastic service they had received. The breakfast was the best I have ever seen. I will definitely be back. Thank you for making me feel so comfortable. Well done to the manager and all the staff, you are doing an excellent job.

Very good value of money given the usual price for such a central location. Very close to Sauchiehall Str and only a short walk away from the SECC and the city centre. Rooms are beautifully arranged and have all the amenities available including an ironing room on one of the floors. One word of warning though - don't pay for breakfast at the hotel - they charge exorbitant prices - just outside the hotel there is a nice little shop run by an elderly and a younger lady (possibly her daughter) with really cheap and wholesome rolls, sandwiches, coffee - the lot.

The Premier Lodge Glasgow Centre is a good value limited service budget hotel. I stayed for five nights starting March 11. I had a single room, with a double bed, that was comfortable and of adequate size for one person. I don't think they sell this sized room as a double, but it would be very cramped for two people. A true non-smoking room. A lower floor room facing east, away from the motorway, letting in negligible traffic or city noise. The brief horn sound of trains entering adjacent Charing Cross station was audible. The train from this station (2 minutes to Queen St. Station and 4 minutes to High Street station) was very convenient if you don?t want to do the 10 - 15 minute walk.Breakfast (?6.50 for traditional, ?4.50 for continental) was above average. Having to walk through the stale smokiness of the bar to get to the dining room was off-putting. Makes me assume the bar must be popular at night - surprising given the vast bar, pub and club choices on nearby Sauchiehall Street.Check-in and check-out was quick, efficient and friendly.
