This attractive hotel is ideally located in the historical centre of Madrid, near the Real Palace and the Plaza Mayor. The pulsing city centre is only minutes away and the hotel offers excellent links to the public transport network. The hotel provides a choice starting point for an exploration of the metropolis' abundant shops and cultural venues as well as the numerous tourist attractions.
Built in 1968 and renovated in 2004, the hotel offers a total of 152 rooms spread over 6 floors, of which 52 are single rooms, 100 are double rooms. Guests are offered a generous foyer with lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk and a reception which is manned around the clock. In addition it has a TV room, a cosy bar, a pub and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant. There is a conference room and Internet access available for business guests. Additional services include a night time room and laundry service as well as medical assistance. The hotel also offers access to its own car park and garage. |

Just got back from a nice stay at Puerta de Toledo Hotel. I think that this is one of the best places to stay in Madrid. Hotel enjoyes a great location. Metro station is just across the other side of the roundabout from the hotel making the trip into the centr...
