My husband and I stayed at the Sofitel last week, and it was a clean, American-style hotel. We were pleased with our room for the most part; however, a huge piece of wallpaper was already peeling off of the walls, which we thought was odd for a four-year-old hotel. The Bercy Village with its shops, movie theatre, and restaurants, as well as a new metro stop, are a two-minute walk away. Look elsewhere if you want a hotel that is more centrally-located, though.

Just returned from a week long stay, large room & bath, comfy bed, helpful staff - we had trouble w/our rooms internet access but it was taken care of promptly. Did miss having a coffee maker in the room but for the price of a single cup at any cafe, room service provides a fresh (& excellent) pot. A good variety of restaurants & shopping within walking distance & close to Metro/bus.

My wife and I were assigned the Hotel Sofitel-Bercey in a package deal. To our surprise it turned out to be a Five Star hotel. The cost was reasonable, the room with bath was extraordinary, the staff was friendly and very helpful. A full buffet breakfast came with the room. This was the best breakfast that we have ever encountered anywhere. The food was fantastic. the cafe-a-lait was ohh-la-la, and the service was excellent. Other meals were a bit pricy, but worth it. The property is a short walk to/from the Metro.
