Quality Hotel Glasgow opened in 1883 and has been welcoming visitors to Glasgow ever since. It has a feeling of a bygone era, with high cornaced ceilings and ornate fittings. Behind its grand Victorian frontage there are tales of ghosts, humour, and of stars of the stage and silver screen who have wandered the grand interiors. The 'Central' has been graced by Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy stayed in the hotel and waved to the crowds who filled Hope Street from the window on the staircase leading to the lobby. When Roy Rodgers and his wife, Dale Evans stayed at the Central, a room was also reserved for his horse Trigger!! |

Very central, a little old fashioned vhich meant long corridors and long walk to room. Hotel staff was very accomodating, the location was excellent to get around the place, very much pleased with leisure facilities. Excellent value for money.
