A traditional Victorian Queens Hotel built in 1862 on the promenade at Penzance, boasting a warm atmosphere, good food and very friendly staff. The hotel provides an ideal location to explore and enjoy Western Cornwall.
All bathrooms had hot and cold water and that its cuisine and stock of wines were selected with the utmost care. There was also attached to the main building a good range of stabling, and horses and carriages 'for airings', picnics etc.
The award winning restaurant offers local produce with sea views. |

Queens Hotel is situated at the northwest corner of mount's Bay facing St. Michael's Mount. Penzance is a bustling town and harbour and has Cornwall's only promenade; the climate here is so mild that palm trees and tropical plants thrive. Humphry Davy, the pioneer of electrochemistry and inventor of the life saving miners safety lamp, was the son of a local woodcarver. You can see a statue in his honour holding the lamp outside Market House. |
