Tourist visiting in 2006
I spent 5 nights at this hotel on May 2006 and I 'm visiting London again next month so this was my first choice. It has all the advantages of the centre except its high hotel prices. Near the sub (not 300 and 400 m to the sub station) . Queen's Park is cosy, comfortable and with great service (breakfast is OK) . I would like for the rooms to be a little more clean but neverheless, the hotel is good value for money!

A real nightmare.!!!
This hotel NEEDS DECORATING. Dirty rooms. Window whoch opened max 6 inches.
Bedroom: Thin pillow & very terrible beds, hard and very lumpy broken bed.
Curtains were so old and dirty. Poor standard and wall paper and borders was peeling off.
Beaten up lampshade. Bedrooms are shabby and carpet dampish smell.
The bathroom was tiny. Hair dryer broken.
The halls were narrow and hard to navigate. Very noisy from early in the morning by staff in reception.
Very small breakfast. Cornflakes and soggy toast with jam, coffee/tea and juice and fruit cocktail.
No cheese or egg. VERY basic “Continental Breakfast”. No facilities to buy food.
Confirmation promised a daily paper - receptionist informed me this has been discontinued for the past three years!
Would strongly recommend people do NOT stay there In my experience, this is no way a 3-star hotel
Hotel a real nightmare. !!! These observations refer to rooms 108 and 120 when we would be moved for the second night. Not like pictures at all here.
Not value for money at all!!

Stayed at the Queens Park Hotel at the end of July,2003. Should have known that there would be problems when only 1 person and a suitcase would fit in the elevator at a time and then the elevator wouldn't close!
Very narrow hallways and very, very small rooms.
Not much of a breakfast and the room was too small (again) for the number of guests who were trying to eat. Not a 3 star hotel, in my experience!
The hotel was on a quiet street and had good access to the subway. One could also get on the city hop on/hop off tour bus, at Marble Arch, approx. 15-20 min. walk through Kensington Gardens. The staff was very nice(almost apologetic). Wouldn't return.

Great hotel for ?33 per night including continental breakfast
Did not expect the Ritz hotel facilities when paying for budget hotel
Very friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean room, room adequate size for me, as left hotel in the morning to return at night then out again

We stayed at Queens Park Hotel for 5 nights at Easter, we got one of the mezzanine rooms, rooms are small (3X3 meters), be aware that double bed was 190x125cm!!!, location is not at the center but central line underground is just 3 minuts walking from the hotel, and For those who love jogging Hyde Park is just 1 minute. Continental breakfast is just to survive... We would return there..hotel is clean and for that price is the best that you can get in London. ah!! the lift is the smaller I've ever seen in my life

I write in reference to my stay at The Queens Park Hotel, London. I stayed with my wife and three kids in January 04 and my family and I loved it. The staff are friendly, the breakfast was good, the rooms were clean and the whole ambience of the hotel did meet our expectations. This hotel does live up to its mission statement of "...providing the highest standards of service and hospitality, with the comfort and facilities you would expect of a modern luxury hotel" I can reccommend this hotel to anyone seeking to stay right opposite the Hyde Park and looking for best possible rates! My family and I make regular trips to London and I can say that I will not have to worry about which hotel I stay at, as we have been very satisfied with The Queens Park Hotel.

My husaband and I stayed in February 2004,I must say that I was very satisfied with the level of service, cleanliness and great hospitality received. I sure can recommed this hotel to any travellor looking for great bargain rates at a great location! I have read the other reviews and in all fairness, I do not agree with the negative comments. I shall certainly stay here again!
