Enjoyed our time at old fashioned but charming Quirinale hotel

My mother and I have stayed at Quirinale Hotel over the autumn break. After reading several mixed reviews beforehand we were a bit skeptical about what to expect. Quirinale Hotel is a true old fashioned hotel in all of its aspects but we found it to absolutely charming in a way it’s absolutely fine for Rome, a futuristic hotel in Rome just isn’t right in any case. Quirinale Hotel is location very conveniently – within a walking distance to Termini station therefore a good place to get buses all over town. The hotel reception staff and porter were very helpful and answered all of our questions. The room (we had a superior) was great, very big and spacious. Breakfast was good although wouldn’t let us sit out in the garden area because of a wedding I believe but still sat outside which was lovely. Breakfast is fine and adequate to star the day. Overall we both enjoyed our time at Quirinale Hotel and would recommend it.
