Aug 11, 2008 Radisson Blu Hotel Lyon's central geographic location makes the hotel an ideal base not only to visit the historic city centre recently added to UNESCO's World Heritage list but equally to discover the surrounding region famed the world over its vineyards and gastronomy.

The hotel has a private and closed car park and is closed to subway's and tramway's stations who lead you straight to the historic centre in 5 minutes.

Take your events to new heights! Be it for meetings, cocktail parties, business meals or family events. Radisson Blu Hotel Lyon has the answer: 11 modular rooms (total area 500 m2) accommodating from 15 to 400 guests all with panoramic views of the city.

* This hotel will be closed from 22nd April 2011 till 24th inclusive because of renovations.

LOCATION

Radisson Blu Hotel Lyonis within 5 km of Auditorium Maurice Ravel, Hotel De Ville, and Jean Moulin University. It is also within 10 km of Opera de Lyon.

* L'Arc en Ciel - 31st-floor restaurant with views over the old town. Sleek, contemporary earth-toned decor, floorboards studded with lights, dark wood-panelled walls, crisp beige tablecloths and fresh cut flowers. Sample dishes include Pan-fried Foie Gras with Preserve of Kumquat, Veal Cutlet, and Stuffed Saddle of Rabbit. Serves lunch and dinner (closed Saturday lunchtime and Sunday).

* Le Ciel de Lyon - Panoramic bar on 32nd floor. Green-toned decor of wood panelling, club chairs and plants. Extensive cocktail menu including Manhattan, Caipirinha and champagne cocktails, as well as champagnes, short and long drinks. Entertainment includes live piano music (every other evening), a jazz trio (once a week) and a fashion show for local designers (every few months). Open all day.

* Guests have complimentary access to a fitness centre one kilometre away offering classes, gym equipment, a swimming pool, and a sauna.
