This is normally expensive hotel, however, we found a great deal on their home page. From the Oslo airport there is a direct bus (Flybussen), and the hotel is at the final stop. This bus is great. It departs/arrives ever 20 minutes from the airport and the hotel (So we did not get wet even it was raining!). The breakfast was great! So many choices. The best salmon I ever had! Our first room was close to elevaters, it was a little bit noisy. Yes, they gave us another room without any question.
If rooms are not booked out, ask for a room withview of Royal Palace.

Oslo is a very boring and ultra expensive place, but if you have to go there, this is the place to stay. They had (July) internet rate for 110euro and VERY good breakfast. Good location and Jim (the brit) in the Irish pub downstairs is good company. Eat at the Brazzier next to The Studenten (upstairs to the right).

great hotel. clean, friendly and very helpful staff, good location (at the edge of the city center). From the airport there is a bus which drops you off right at the hotel door (it's the last stop of several in the city centre). The bus is a bit cheaper then taking the train but their is a stop within walking distance. If staying in Oslo city centre again it would be here.

Stayed a few nights here. Linen sheets, thank God!, so slept well. Big bed. Lot's of space. It's one of the tallest (and ugliest) buildings in Oslo so most rooms have a commanding view over the city. Right on the top, there's a bar - with, obviously, a panorama through big plate glass windows, of the whole city. Very happy there. Just 5 minutes walk to the city centre.

Stayed at this hotel whilst in Oslo on business. Room was nice, clean and typical Scandinavian with wooden floors. Good location, right beside the bus station and train station. All the sights of the city are walkable. Irish bar on the premises serves very good food and has a friendly atmosphere. Don't miss the bar on the top floor of the hotel for stunning views over the harbour.

Great hotel with a good breakfast buffet. Hotel staff is very friendly, but the fitness room is terrible and desperately needs updating. Location is perfect for exploring Oslo and the view from the cocktail bar on the 21st floor is great in the evening. The drinks itself are expensive (but that's normal in Oslo) and there is hardly any alcohol in the cocktails. Still it is a great place to have a (soft)drink.
