The Rainforest Resort Taman Negara is strategically located in Kuala Tahan, which is National Park Headquarters. The resort is 70 kilometers north of Jerantut town, 260 kilometers northeast of Kuala Lumpur and 280 kilometers west of Kuantan. It is accessible by road and by boat.
To get to Rainforest Resort, you can either self-drive to Kuala Tembeling. From Kuala Lumpur it will take about 3 hours 30 minutes to Kuala Tembeling. There are plenty of manned Carpark at Kuala Tembeling. From Kuala Tembeling you may take the boat to Kuala Tahan. The boat ride from Kuala Tembeling to Kuala Tahan will take about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
However, if you choose to continue the journey to Kuala Tahan by car it will take approximately another 3 hours by road. Rainforest Resort Kuala Tahan offers exciting packages where your holiday starts off from Kuala Lumpur. Packages where you alight the Coach from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Tembeling and a boat ride from Kuala Tembeling to Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara. The total journey from Kuala Lumpur to Rainforest Resort under these packages will take approximately 7 hours. At Kuala Tembeling/Jerantut there is a train station if you would prefer to travel by train there. |
