Pleasant stay!
I stayed at Ramada Encore Geneva Hotel for two days recently. I booked my room through otel.com. After a friendly welcome i received at the reception desk and a very fast check-in i got into my room. It was a neat, clean room with air-conditioning, safe, hairdryer etc. The room facilities satisfied my needs during my stay. The buffet breakfast i was offered was good. There is a shopping mall very close to the hotel so i went there for dining. The hotel has great transportation links. There are scheduled busses to the Geneva city center and the ride takes about 15 minutes. Very convenient! Nice hotel, nice stay. I would stay at Ramada Encore Geneva Hotel while in Geneva again. |

Would stay there again
We stayed for two nights in May 2008. Good check in and checkout and helpful staff. Room was very nice and a good size. The bathroom was modern and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable.
There are places to eat in the shopping center that is attached to the hotel. The center is closed on Sundays, but there are places to eat there.
Although not in the center of lake area, it is easy to get to as the bus stops about 100 feet from the hotel, less than that on the return. There is no charge for transportation with the free pass.
If one does not have a lot of luggage, it would be easy to use transportation from the airport to downtown and then take the trolley. We could not because we were traveling for a month and had heavy luggage. It was 20 Swiss Francs to the train station when we left. I heard different taxi costs from the airport. Ours was 45 and someone else paid 69. |

Not impressed but very much pleased
While visiting our friends in Geneva we stayed in Ramada Encore Geneva Hotel for 5 days. We were pleased with overall experience. Spacious, clean and modern rooms made us feel very comfortable, hotel staff were very professional and accommodating, but not particularly friendly or warm. The hotel is located adjacent to La Praille shopping mall, couple km from Lake Geneva and the historic centre. As for future visitors, Ramada Encore perpahs not the ideal base to explore Geneva, however transporation links in Geneva are very sufficient. All in all, we were not super impressed but we were pleased with our stay at Ramada Encore Geneva Hotel. |

Brilliant
Ramada Encore Geneva Hotel is not a centrally located hotel that might limit or create obsticles for tourists, however I was not in this category, so this well modernized, clean hotel was a perfect choice for me since it was my first time in Geneva. I was friendly welcomed and taken through all procedures at the front desk by professional staff. My room was very spacious and clean with spotless and modern bathroom. The shopping mall is very near by and was very handy with various restaurants and entertainment on offer. I had a brilliant 3 days stay at Ramadan Encore Geneva. |

Loved the whole experience
We loved Ramada Encore in Geneva. First of all, the facade was very impressive, then the staff was efficient and helpful in all our queries, the room was very clean, comfortable, spacious with all modern requirements. The breakfast was lovely. The Ramada Encore is located next to La Praille shopping mall which was handy. However, the location is not an ideal base for exploring Geneva,, but transporation links are so convenient and regular that it was actually enjoyable to take a ride and explore Geneva that way. All in all, we enjoyed our Geneva trip and definitely loved Ramanda Encour Geneva Hotel. |

Great Time!
The hotel itself was lovely, friendly staff, and great choice for breakfast!
The rooms were nice and roomy. The glass bathroom was gorgeous!
The hotel is situated 10 minutes bus run from Geneva city centre. And was easy and convienient to get too.
You also get a free travel pass for Geneva buses, trains, and on the boats! (Transport not tourist boats)
This ticket also gets you back to the airport free!
My only criticism of the hotel was the wardrobe space could have been improved.
Geneva itself is a lovely exceptionally clean city. Highly recommended.
We will be back...and will be staying in the Ramada Encore.
