Great Value!
Hotel is located 20 min walks or 8 min free tram ride to the city center or train station. The room is very spacious with great views of the old town as it's almost the tallest building in Basel. The bathroom is bit small with just a shower but with unique lighting illuminating from the glass floor. The buffet breakfast is great.
With the free mobility ticket issued to all guests, one can use all the public transportation free of charge. To go to or come from the main train station, take tram #2 which comes often. To go to the Basel Airport, take the same tram to the train station and connect with the free airport bus #50 right in front of the tourist information office at the station.
