Could have been better
This hotel is very beautiful but the first room we has was very small and ordinary. Very pain in comparison to the lobby. The air conditioner didn't work and it was very hot so we called for assistance. It took 30 minutes of sitting in the heat for someone to come help us. Also they did not bring our bags up, we had to call down for those as well. Finally the front desk person came up and said that the air conditioner in the whole building is not on during the early april days. His only suggestion was for us to move to a balcony room with would have more air flow. We agreed and moved. The room was very nice and well decorated. Tons better than our original room, however, the traffic and crowds from the street kept us up all night. Not to mention that it was still super hot in our room. So for $300 night, we woke up unrested and covered in sweat.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon in June 2000. We travelled to Paris, Lourdes and Rome. Because this was our honeymoon, we planned for luxurious accommodations. And that is exactly what we got!The lobby, dining room and accommodations are gorgeous, the pictures on the internet do not do this hotel justice. The service was impeccable from every staff member. This hotel is very well kept. This, by far was the best hotel we stayed in on our trip. The continental breakfast consisted of oven fresh rolls, perfect coffee. The hotel is located right across the street from the American Embassy in a very upscale area. Close to fabulous restaurants and shops, but also close to many of Rome's major tourist attractions. My husband and I did quite alot of walking in this neighbohrhood and felt quite safe. From the minute we stepped into the lobby, I knew this hotel was worth the money we spent.

Luxurious and centrally located on the Via Veneto near the top of the Spanish Steps, this is a beautiful hotel with beautiful furnishings, a kind staff and a terrific breakfast buffet--the best start to a long day of sightseeing. The only drawback was the street noise that continued into the early morning hours, but I doubt there's much that can be done about that. A friend from Rome recommend it, and my husband and I were glad we took her recommendation.

My husband and I spent 10 days at the Regina Hotel Baglioni and it was fabulous. Our room was large by European standards with a very comfortable bed and high quality linens. The bathroom was wall-to-wall marble, with the same high quality linens and bathroom accessories. Our room was very quiet and we rested well each night after hours of sight-seeing. The hotel is convenient to many attractions and a large park is nearby for walks. Breakfast each morning was my husband's favorite part of the hotel with fresh baked pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit and of course wonderful coffee (cafe as the Italian's say). The staff was pleasant and helpful with arranging tours and answering questions. Lastly, the bartender Gabrielle is very entertaining. We would definitely stay here again.

We just back from Italy and stayed at this hotel. We had a wonderful experience. The hotel was beautiful the location was great and the staff was very friendly. We asked for a room with a better view, and they did with no extra charge, the room was a little larger also. Would stay there again.
