Regina Hotel, which is a few steps from the Place de la Concorde and the Champs Elysees, was built at the beginning of the twentieth century. It is an example of genuine, flamboyant Art Nouveau at its best.
The Regina Hotel's facade was awarded a prize for its charm in 1904. Thanks to its character and elegance the Regina Hotel, and in particular its well-lit hall and its oak and glass curved revolving door, has been used for a number of films.

This Hotel is fantastic. The rooms are great, the people are very friendly and helpful. The food is wonderful and best of all, it's located in the best district in Paris. For first timers you really want to your Hotel to be located in this district. The Louvre is right across the street. The Eiffel Tower is within walking distance. There is also a fantastic bus-tour company 20 steps from the Hotel (this will be very important to you because after any tours that you book you'll be dropped off right at the Hotel). For those of you who heed this advice, say hello to Stefan (the breakfast host at the Hotel restraunt) from Michael and Kitty.

We had a short stay during our honeymoon trip and were charmed by the Regina Hotel. Full of character, and wonderful location, we found outstanding service.
We were first placed in a honeymoon suite which was lovely having a bathroom with a painted mural, but no view except rafters. We requested a view of the city, and they were surprised we preferred one of their smallest rooms but with a view we enjoyed day and night!
The room was indeed small, but cozy with luxurious furnishings including an antiquie, built-in wardrobe, marble built-in desk, and rich tapestries and bedspreads. The bathroom was quite large and modern, even by U.S. standards. And the view of the Eiffel Tower, gardens and city skyline was breathtaking.
We loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. Excellent choice for a Parisian adventure.

Our trip was 3 years ago this day March 17th for our Honeymoon. We stayed 5 nights at this absolutely charming and historic Hotel in the heart of Paris. The d?cor is very turn of the century and emphasizes the Parisian style of life. The staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast was our favorite with egg-ceptional eggs, meats, cheeses, coffee and the addictive chocolate croissants. The location was right across the street from the Louvre and Jardin des Tuileries. They filmed a couple of commercial while we were there. It was never a nuisance because they filmed in the middle of the day and only for a couple of hours or so. We thought it was quite interesting, in fact since our visit we have seen the Regina Hotel in two different Hollywood movies. I would highly recommend this Hotel we will definitely be going back on our fifth year anniversary.

We stayed at the Regina in June and loved every second of our visit.
Our room was incredible, with huge french windows that overlooked the tuileries and the Eiffel Tower beyond. The room itself was huge and evocative of 'old paris'. The bathroom was big too which is a dream in Paris. The location is fantastic. Seconds from the louvre and the tuileries, a skip away from hot chocolate at Angeliques and a pleasant stroll to the Place Vendome and Blvde Hausseman. Faubourg St Honore is only moments away as well! The Regina is an older style European hotel, it has been used in many films including la femme Nikita. Please stay there if you can, you won't regret ii.

I stayed at the Regine twice and both times were as good as each other.
Wonderful rooms, large, great breakfast and a wonderful location.
Leaving the Regina was like leaving a part of me in PAris.

We spent 6 nights at the Regina and could not have found a better spot in all of Paris. The hotel is old but has been lovingly maintained. Located in the heart of Paris within walking distance of almost everything. Will stay there again!

The hotel was ideally placed near good restaurants and cafe's and the Seine was under 2 minutes walk away. Our room was on the second floor and overlooking the Rue de Rivoli with the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe visible in the distance.
The room was clean, beatifully decorated and the double glazing seemed to keep out the traffic noise for us.
The breakfasts were excellent and the staff here and on the desks were the most polite, friendly and efficient that we have come across for a while.
The bar was very cozy with its wood panelling but watch the prices.
They could do with lowering a bit to encourage greater usage.
We would highly recommend the hotel and its location for any short stay and central platform for sightseeing.

Like stepping back in time. Beautiful old world style with all the amenities. Our room was on the second floor facing Rue de Rivoli. The view was incredible. From our room we had wonderful views of the Louvre, the gardens and the Eiffel Tower. At night the traffic was somewhat noisy...never ending and the rooms can become hot, but none the less it was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for it's beauty and location.
