Business
Its a huge hotel and very good for people who love watching from high floors to the old city of Riga and river Daugava. Lovely bar on top in 27th floor and good service.
But also a lot of tourists are carried and espacially in summer from England - mostly drunken in the lobby and elsewhere... not nice! |

Landmark Hotel in Riga
They care for your from your arrival at Riga airport. Run half hour non stop shuttle to the hotel, check-in took less than 3 min. Being part of Estonian Reval Hotels Group the building rises next to government offices and the Orthodox Cathedral in a green zone along Elizabeta street.
Standard rooms are functional and large enough, but without posh amenities. Breakfast is rich and tasty, consisting of a hot buffet choice of international brand food and local specialities. Liked their fitness center on 27th floor as well as the beautiful view from Sky Bar on 26th.
Staff is friendly and efficient, except the concierge´, who did not show up at all, when we asked some questions about sightseeing and Riga Card.
Walk along Elizabeta street and you will be able to admire some of the finest Art Nouveau Houses that can be seen in Europe today. A 3 min walk brings you to Liberty Statue, Opera House and the gate to Old Riga. Take tram 5 from Opera House, go 2 stations and you land on the other end of the old town, close to river Daugava. For traditional Latvian food, go to Taverna in the Old Town or try some of the Lido bistros (e.g. 2 blocks away on Elizabeta street).

perfectly suitable for business traveler
On first arriving at the Reval, we were very impressed with the reception area, the greeting and location of the hotel. We have stayed for 2 nights while on a business trip. I’ve been given a very massive clean room that reflected a modern comfort through modern amenities provided. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and spacious as well. The view from my room was really great, you don't get this too often. The breakfast was great with a great choice of cold and hot items. The hotel has a wonderful skyline bar, which is a must even if you don’t stay here. The view of the town is magnificent and the cocktails are excellent and reasonably priced.
We loved our stay at Reval Hotel Latvija, it is very convenient in all sense for a business travelers in particular.
