There is simply no better location for a hotel in Venice than Rialto Hotel. It is virtually attached to the vibrant, shop-filled, world-famous Rialto Bridge, surely one of the most well-known symbols of Venice. Indeed, there would hardly seem any need to leave this hotel since many happy hours could be spent just lingering over its unrivalled views of the Grand Canal.
Most definitely in the centre of things, there are only twenty-five paces to the 'vaporetto' water-bus stops and the hotel is also just a few minutes walk to St Mark's Square. |

We stayed at the Hotel Rialto at the end of April 2004 and had a room overlooking the Grand Canal. We absolutely loved the view and the staff were all very friendly. We were slightly concerned about speaking no Italian but all the staff spoke very good English...
March 2004 I can not imagine staying anywhere except the Hotel Rialto in Venice. The staff was very friendly and our room was large with a sette and a Venitian chandlier. (Our room was the one in front with the balcony and the flags.) The view was spectacular ...
This was an ideal location for first-time visitors like ourselves - more or less in the centre of Venice. If however, you are arriving by water bus from the airport, this may be a bit of a trek from St Marks' with your luggage. Would advise getting a bus from ...
