Situated in the heart of Florence, close to the Piazza Santa Maria Novella, this hotel is convenient for the exhibition and congress centre and the city's tourist attractions.
These include the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizzi gallery and the Academy of Fine Arts, where Michelangelo's celebrated David is housed.
Dating back to the 14th century, the hotel is an ex Franciscan convent which has been restored to its unique splendour. Throughout Hotel Rivoli, the classic ceilings, cross vaults, stone arches and pillars all add to the character of the building. |

In fine weather, breakfast is served outside among the flowers and plants in the secluded patio garden, where there is also a 20 square metre hot tub, heated and available to guests all year round.
* Daily papers are available in the lobby, where there is a lounge bar serving drinks and snacks. The health conscious will appreciate access to the facilities at a neighbouring fitness centre for the duration of their stay and those with cars can take advantage of valet parking. |

* Hotel Rivoli features 69 guestrooms spread over its three floors, all of which are accessible via the lift. Due to the historical nature of the building, no two rooms are identical, however all have high ceilings and are decorated in warm tones, with floral drapery and art prints. Tall windows have slatted shutters and overlook the gardens, inner courtyard, or the street below (street-facing rooms are double glazed).
* Amenities include dark wood desks, minibars, safes, satellite television, and radios integrated into the bedside tables.
* Bathrooms feature granite floors and basin tops, chrome fittings and heated towel rails. A choice of two pillow types and harder or softer mattresses is also available. |
