Awesome location, one block from l'Arc de Triomphe and Metro station! Very helpful, friendly and courteous staff, happily willing to help in English when my French failed me. They delivered everything promised in our booking. The standard room was small (typical for Europe-the photos in the hotel ad were clearly of a larger room) but was quaint, well decorated, perfectly clean, and totally quiet; the bathroom was excellent and immaculate. But with beautiful Paris outside, it's not like we spent much time in our room anyway!! My wife and I were celebrating our 10th anniversary and this hotel was a perfect part of an incredibly romantic trip. We would recommend this hotel highly - after seeing the pictures, our kids are already begging to go with us to the Royal Hotel next time.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have received excellant accomadations and service. The Royal is the only hotel I will stay at in the future while in Paris.

My sister and I stayed here in March 2002 and had a great time. Our room was lovely with a great bathroom. The view from the balcony was wonderful and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone. It was a great location for the metro and nice night time viewing of the Arch de Triumphe. Didn't seem to notice any of the street noise at all.

This was our first trip to Paris and my son and I loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Our room was small but very Parisian and the sounds of Paris were no farther away than the two french windows in our room. We truly enjoyed our stay here.
