disgrace
i had previously stayed at this hotel in 1996, and noticed they are are still using the exact same brochure (claiming to be newly renovated!). dont be fooled.
we had no hot water - they claimed we must have been using the shower at the same time as other guests! we tried at 4pm and 4am!! they simply fobbed us off.
the radiator was literally like a fire hose squirting water everywhere.
the shower was broken and had fallen off the wall.
the carpets were filthy and hadnt been cleaned for an age.
we paid for wifi that didnt work, and asked for advice from the horrible man at the reception who couldnt care less.
we asked to leave our bags at the hotel as we flew out late, the horrible man pointed to a spot on the corner of the main entrance. i asked if we could possibly put behind door of main reception. we left straight away.
the only time he actually bothered with us was when he was trying to make us pay 34 euros each for a taxi to the airport!!!!
this man was absolutely disrecpecrful as was the hotel (and breakfast). i would not reccomend this to anyone and feel i was completely ripped off. paris on the whole is a lovely city but this experience ruined it for us. theres no need for unhygienic conditions or complete and utter disrespect for customers. it should be closed down

Fair for city break
I've been visiting Paris with friends in September 2008. Booking this hotel was the best way to save money and have secured accomodation during short city break and stay in Paris. Room condition was fair, hotel staff friendly but communicating in French only. Big plus for bathroom that was rather clean and connected with room. One thing is a bit annoying: quite noisy street outside, even through double-glazing. In summary, this hotel is a good choice if u are interested in value for money and u will not stay longer than 3 nights.
