Built from traditional timber weather board, the 3 and 4-bedroom cottages have solid timber floors, raked timber ceilings and are fully appointed to a very high standard.
LOCATION
Adjacent to the historic school site, on Chapel Street in the heart of the village and only a short stroll from the waterfront, the cottages are nestled in established trees, and beside a running brook.
If driving from Auckland travel north on State Highway 1 to Kawakawa and continue onto Highway 11 to Opua (approx. 8 km). Guests must arrive at the Opua car ferry before 10.00 pm as this is the last ferry to the Russell Peninsula.
When in Russell, drive along York Street and take the first right hand turn into Chapel Street. The hotel is on the left hand side towards the end of the street.
PROPERTY AMENITIES
* It has a lobby with hotel safe, conference facilities and Internet access. On-site parking for 2 cars is also available for all cottages as well as a boat park on site. Younger guests may like to take advantage of the playground.
* Reception hours are from 8 am to 7 pm. If intending to arrive after 7 pm guests are requested to advise reception in advance.

Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different. 3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different. 4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
