This hotel is situated at the heart of the city close to the Gran Via, one of the largest shopping districts with countless shops, restaurants and pubs. Thanks to its privileged location, guests are able to achieve the most important cultural sights on foot such as the Puerta del Sol, the Museo del Prado, the Museo Thysen, the Museo Reina Sofia, the Palacio Real, the Parque del Retiro and the Plaza Mayor. The nearest public transport links are within metres of the hotel entrance (as are taxis).
The hotel comprises a total of 48 rooms accommodated in a historic building with 3 floors. The lobby offers a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and lifts. Additional facilities at this air-conditioned hotel include a cafe and a public Internet connection.The hotel is a 15-20 minute taxi ride from the airport (depending on traffic). The bus travels the route from the airport's international terminal to Plaza del La Independencia. Here guests have two possibilities: take the underground to Plaza de La Independencia (Colon station). Transfer at Bilbao station and travel to Gran Via or transfer at Goya station and travel to Sevilla station, which is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Colon station is a ten-minute ride by taxi from the hotel. Alternatively, guests may take the underground (line 8) and alight at the end station, Mar de Cristal. Transfer onto line 4 in the direction of Arguelles. At Bilbao station take line 1 in the direction of Congosto and alight at station Gran Via. The hotel is just 5 minutes away. All train stations in Madrid have an underground station. Take the metro to Station Gran Via station in order to reach the hotel. The hotel is just 5 minutes away on foot. |
