Great three star hotel
We recently spent six nights at the Sana Classic Reno Hotel. It is perfectly located for getting around Lisbon, on a quiet side street, but still central (e. g. one of Lisbon's most famous museums "Museu de Calouste Gulbenkian"). The underground and the buses, including the No. 91 airport bus, can be reached within a five-minute-walk. The hotel seems relatively new, the furniture is modern and nice. During our stay the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well, although the small breakfast place was a little crowded at times. On the whole, it was excellent value for the price we payed, a place where we would definitely like to stay again.

Enjoy Lisbon
The hotel is a perfect stay for discovering Lisbon. It's provide you everything you need. Rooms are clean and big with mini-bar and badshower. Staff is also friendly and breakfast is excellent. Every day different sorts of bread and fruit. There is also scrambled eggs and bacon. On the top of the building, 8th floor, there is a swimming pool and sauna. Metrostations Saldanha and Sao Sebastian about 10 minutes walking. Traveling to the city centre (Restauradores or Baixa-Chiado) is taken about 15 minutes and walking about 45 minutes. Beautiful places are Alfama (fado restaurants, beautiful views to Tejo river and Sé church). There is also a castle named Sao Jorge (entrance app 5 euros). Other places: - Baixa with carfree walking and Santa Justa elevator - Belem (take train or tram from Cais Sodre station) with different churches and a lot of parks Advice: - take a Lisbon viva card (app 3.70 euros per day) and you have 24 hours traveling by metro, bus, tram, elevators

Just got back from 3 nights in Lisbon (July 2003) where we stayed in the Sana Classic Reno Hotel. We were not expecting much a hotel costing 68 EUR per night B&B - but was a pleasant surprise. The plus points: Very clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff, good buffet breakfast and the all important rooftop pool (small but perfectly formed). On the downside: odd 70's style lounge/reception area (white leather, marble and leopard skin - what's that about?) and the location - bit off the main drag but a metro station is 5 minutes walk ago.Recommended
