1 Night at Sangallo
We have stayed there 1 night, in September 2005. The hotel has a good location, just 5 minutes driving from center of Siena. The rooms are pretty nice and the breakfast included a nice buffet. However, there is one 'but' : the hotel is located near a road with pretty heavy traffic, therefore make sure you get a back room, i.e. room with view to the pool. Our room was switched only after we asked twice. At the first try the clerk said "there are no back rooms available" - so don't give up.

Our family of 4 stayed at Sangallo Park on our way south from Florence to Rome, and we were delighted with the accommodations. The hotel is outside the walls of the city, but close by for sightseeing and restaurants. This is a modern, air conditioned facility with a very nice pool. Good size rooms and bathrooms, very clean, nice continental breakfast. With one exception, the front desk staff was helpful. Good value and highly recommended.
