Santini Residence is situated in the heart of one of oldest Prague parts, the Lesser Town, quarter known for its unrepeatable magic, picturesque little streets and typical red roofs. The history of the building dates back to the 17th century and you can still admire painted ceilings, wooden joists and original arches. You are offered the rare opportunity to stay at unique Valkounský house", later used as a home by one of the most significant architects of Czech high baroque, the creator of the world famous baroque gothic" style, Jan Blaej Santini Aichel. This great artist has left his merit in numerous significant buildings. Besides many others he participated in resemblance of St. Nicolas Church which is the dominant of the Lesser Town.
