Fantastic location, wonderful cigar bar
I enjoyed my stay at Savoy. The location was fantastic as it was so central. The cigar and whiskey bar was a jewel. I think it definitely adds character to the hotel. Not sure about the bed and the bathroom though. The mattress was slightly too thin and when I stayed there the weather was really warm so it was totally boiling in the room as there was no air conditioning. I think they can make it a bit more enjoyable for the guests by providing fluffier towels and more comfortable beddings.

Highly recommend
We had an outstanding stay at the Savoy Hotel in Berlin. It is a lovely old hotel with lots of charm and grace. I would highly recommend staying here, owing to a number reasons: generally the hotel was remarkably clean and charming, the staff was overly attentive, easily accessible location for exploring the city, fantastic cafes throughout the area that are open late. In addition, the hotel has a marvelous bar, which was always filled with locals, and has warm red hues and leather furniture throughout the public spaces. The interior design does give an impression. Our room, in the front of the hotel, had a small balcony, which was a wonderful way to take in each morning. It was also quiet and the bed was perfectly comfortable. The breakfast was incredible, with a huge selection of cold and hot items. The downside though, would be the excessive smoke in public areas of the hotel and a slow internet connection. Despite that, we had a great stay and I would highly recommend Savoy Berlin Hotel.

I stayed at the Savoy for a shopping weekend in Berlin and found it a superb elegant hotel. The lobby and the restaurant simply invite to sit down and relax. The room we stayed in was huge, clean and utterly comfortable.
I have to mention the staff of the front desk and in the restaurant are efficient, fast, patient and friendly. Each of our requests were taken care of immediately.
Will be back soon.
