Harbour view
We chose this location because it is ideal for continuing our journey by Silja boat to Helsinki and only 4 metro stations away from Stockholms city center. If you do not want to walk the 10 min from Grädet metro station you may go to Ropsten and wait for a local bus (76 ?) to take you directly to the doorsteps of Ariadne hotel.
The reception was friendly, but you had to climb up to the 3rd floor and they did not care about guest’s luggage at all. The view, however, was overwhelming, when we came to our room on 12th floor and saw the huge ferryboat anchored right before our window. While the room was well sized and carefully decorated in light brown colours, the bathroom was really very simple.
Breakfast was rich and healthy but very crowded. Sauna facilities seem to be nice, but we had no time to enjoy.

Excellent!!!!
Great hotel, good value for money. Nice, light, big rooms and fairly reasonable sized bathroom. Check in/out was hassle free. Breakfast was really good as was the bar on the 17th floor. The nearest TunnelBanne is about 5 mins walk away and is only 4 stops to Gamla Stan. Taxi's can be a bit steep so use the tube as much as possible. Well worth the money we paid!
