One of my favourites in Helsingfors
A classic example of Finnish Fin de Siecle style. Has been carefully refurbished early this year. Was there in Nov 2006 and felt at home at once like 20 years ago, when I was sipping my afternoon coffee there as foreign SHS student.
Enjoy the rich Finnish breakfast with some polar delicacies; visit the finest bar in the center of this city and select, which format of pillow out of 5 you prefer for a heavenly sleep. And take you time - (airport) bus and train are just opposite your hotel.
Welcome smile and service efficiency is a matter to improve. (Problem is this classic object does not really fit into the Cumulus hotel range.)

When I travelled frequently to Helsinki, this was my favorite hotel. It is in an old building with Art Deco like details and is full of character. Its staff is friendly. I liked it because of its really big rooms that allowed you to relax on a sofa after a hard day's work. Ask for a room at the front because the night club at the back can be noisy!!!
