The city is easily navigable by foot and bicycle, although taxi and bus are also practical ways of getting around. The hotel car service is available for airport transfers. Alternatively, a limousine car service can be arranged.
The Kuranda Rainforests and the Undara outback of Cairns are frequently visited by the tourists in Cairns, the former for its profuse vegetation and wild animals and the latter for its lava tubes which have been crafted by Nature over the relentless passage of time. |
