OK!
We, me and a friend of mine, stayed at Sleeping Beauty Hotel during our backpacking tour. Well, to be honest this hotel is not excellent but it satisfied our needs and would be suitable for those who need a place to stay and don't mind about the rest. The hotel is located a bit far from the city center and it takes about 15 minutes walk from metro station the hotel. If you don't like walking much there are scheduled busses which will take you to the hotel. Me and my friend stayed in a twin room which was neat and clean with adequate facilites. Breakfast menu was not very rich but there are many restaurants and cafes around the hotel so food is not a problem. Recommendable for short stays! |

Adequate 2 star budget hotel
I was looking for a budget hotel conveniently located, therefore Sleeping Beauty was more or less a nice choice. The hotel is closely located to the A12 near the Blackwall Tunnel. It’s a bit with a walking distance, but we did not mind walking. Besides, there are lots of bars, restaurants, shops and bus stops nearby. The reception clerk was friendly but was a bit slow while check-in. Our room was very large, as was the bathroom. On the top of that, both room and bathroom were very clean. The view from the room was great - we could see Canary wharf from our bedroom window. Overall, Sleeping Beauty is an adequate 2 star budget hotel, that would definitely suit the budget-wise traveler’s requirements. |
