A very good value and quality Hostel
I've travelled a lot around the Europe and mostly I was staying in hostel type of accommodation. So while passing Edinburgh, I've chosen to stay at Smart City Hostel. Since it was newly built, the establishment looked really fresh and clean. The hostel is conveniently located close to city center and approx. 25 mintues away from airport. Check-in was effective and the staff were very friendly. Clean and comfortable rooms with ensuite bathroom that was spotless as well was very much appreciated. Besides, high speed internet connection was a blast. My stay at Smart city Hostel was very enjoyable, just spoiled by other visitors of the hotel that were very noisy. Other than that, Smart City Hostel is a very nice hostel with a comfort rooms, friendly staff and nice service offered. |

Smart City Hostel is all a 2 star HOSTEL has to offer
Prior to my trip we have acquired some information and read some bad review about Smart City Hostel. Despite that, we have decided to give it a try. As for the hostel of 2 stars with the value it offers, we'd say that Smart City Hostel is a very nice deal. Moreover, Smart City Hostel is situated in Edinburgh's historic Old Town,close to from the Royal Mile and the castle and 0.5 km from the airport shuttle bus stop. Edinburgh International Airport is approximately 25 minutes drive from the hotel. So the location is very much convenient for tourists on a budget. As for the hostel type accommodation, Smart City Hostel offered a very clean, comfortable and well sized room, with spotless bathroom and towel provided. Apart from this the service was very nice for a 2 star HOSTEL. The checkin was prompt and service in general was very nice. Moreover, food and drinks were charged at a reasonable price. To my surprise and luck, Smart City Hostel offers a clean accommodation, and convenient location. I would not hesitate to recommend Smart City Hostel to the once who are on a tight budget who would wish to get all the "luxury" a 2 star Hostel can provide. |
