Containing 4 floors accessible with 2 lifts, the Sokos Alexandra Hotel represents a perfectly good product in a favorable location. As with the rest of the city's architecture, the building is a modern grey and black concrete structure.
The rooms are of a good size and furnished of a high standard. Colour schemes are conservative, with creams and browns predominant, but the emphasis is on quality and simplicity. There is also a large restaurant which is tastefully decorated. As you enter the hotel you will recognise the wooden reception area, joined to along bar. Some effort has been made to give a traditional look to most of the public areas, with extensive use of wood panneling, cracked stone floors and metal adornments. |
