Nice hotel
I had a nice stay at Sokos Presidentti Hotel recently. The hotel is ideally located around 5 minutes walk from the train station and it is quite close to Helsinki city center. The room I stayed in was a nice room with wooden floors, bright living area and satisfactory bathroom facilities. Breakfast was quite rich. I dined at the hotel restaurant twice, the meal was great and the prices were reasonable. Comfortable hotel, comfortable accomodation. Very nice! |

certainly recommended
I have visited Helsinki 3 times now and each time I stay at this hotel as it is close to the festival that I attend. The beds are adequate, room size good and bathroom ok. Would most certainly recommend this hotel, it is also very close to all shops and restaurants. |

I would definitely recommend
We had spent three months in Finland as students and decided to spend the last week travelling. After previously staying in a SOKOS hotel we decided to opt for this in Helsinki. The hotel was excellent and the staff and facilities were excellent. It is located only five minutes walk from the train station and central to all local amenties.
The rooms were spacious and there was even a bath (which is very rare in Finland) I would definitely recommend it to others and it is priced very well. We have been there twice now. |

Close to everything.
I like the very convenient location between bus terminal (local traffic and long range) and train station (airport bus, trains to Lapland or St. Petersburg).
You stay also close to the opera house, the parliament and key shopping streets. Mannerheim streets brings yo to the fair center and on to the airport.
Because of the in-house casino the place can be crowded sometimes. Very comfortable bed, friendly multi-language staff, vast choice of breakfast goodies. |

Centrally located
Centrally located, but has seen better times. Expect many large groups staying there. Casino on-site, if you like to gamble for your next Finland trip. |
