Stayed here after the New year period, a lovely and well appointed hotel with all the rooms being renovated to the original ottoman style, with a very high standard.
The location is perfect, you can really walk everywhere in Sultanahmet and with a short taxi ride in the evening you can go to the Taksim area, plenty of bars end restaurants.
I really want to thank Turan, the manager. If he goes on running hotel this way, he will certainly do great things!
If you are going to visit “ The Lovely Istanbul” this hotel is a must!!!! |

Small intimate hotel.
Staff pleasant and helpful in sharing knowledge of touristic places. Atmosphere quiet, peaceful yet very close to all major attractions. Narrow, cobblestoned streets are well lit at night. Felt very safe coming home late at night. Close to river for relaxing walks to watch fishermen. Breakfast excellent. Close to restaurants. Some rooms have views overlooking houses and water in the distance. During this period the Turkish bath was unavailable as it was being fixed.
