We could not been more pleased
We stayed at the Hotel Splendid Etoile for our Honeymoon at the end of October and we could not have been more pleased. The hotel staff was warm and attentive. They took wonderful care of us. Our room was beautiful and the view could not have been beat, besides it was beautifully decorated, and was larger by European standards. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large and luxurious. The location of the Splendid Etoile and the easy access to public transport made it a winner all the way around! We would definitely come back to Splendid Etoile and would thoroughly recommend it.

Splendid experience in a Splendid Etoile
We stayed at the Splendid Etoile for 3 nights. The location is fantastic – Metro just across the street; lots of cafes, patisseries, brasseries are within walking distance. The room was very nice and very clean with a great view of the Arc from the room balcony. Although the hotel is in a bustling area, it was completely quiet at night with little to no street noise, making for a very comfortable stay. While the accommodations were excellent, the best reason to stay at the Splendid Etoile was the staff. Each and every staff member was professional, kind and considerate, personal, polite and incredibly accommodating.
We would highly recommend Splendid Etoile, where you would definitely have a splendid time.

We booked a tour to London and Paris, both times opting for the lower priced hotel. In London, it was "ok". In Paris, it was fabulous. The staff are extraordinarily courteous.
The walk to the Champs Elyees was just 3 - 5 minutes, and we saw the Arc de Triumph from our balcony.
The breakfast room is friendly and the metro stop is literally at your doorstep. The more expensive tour put people near the louvre museum - but for culture and an enjoyable evening, sit on on the Champs Elyees and then - and only then, will you have experienced Paris.
I will stay at this hotel the next time without question.
