An excellent choice
This is the first time I stay in this hotel, it really is a lovely hotel, the greatest advantage is its location. It is good for shopping, very close to many dept stores in Hanoi. The staff at reception was adequate in English so it wasn't too bad for communication. Complimentary morning breakfast was great too. I think it is an excellent choice, We could not have had a better stay in Hanoi! And will be recommending for my friends. |

Sociable staff !
The only problem was we stayed in smoking rooms (wasn't able to specify non-smoking rooms on some website that we saw). Although , everything was excellent in here, The breakfast was a very good deal and the staff very polite and helpful, not disappointed at Splendid Star Hotel |

superb, fantastic hospitality !
Splendid Star Hotel was a beautiful place to stay... wonderful people, beautiful and unique accommodation and all a short distance from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves and our hosts were wonderful - more than happy to help plan day trips, suggest restaurants and give helpful advice on getting out and about. Our room/barn was beautiful and sufficiently spacious and had everything we needed. We stayed in the 'basic' room, ie the least expensive, but there was no compromise on quality. Would more than happily recommend staying here. It's out of the main city but not hard to get to via truck or even Cyclo, though carry a map in case you have to help with directions. |

Value For Money !
I booked this at a last minute for an overnight stopover and choose this one for its proximity to the airport and its free airport shuttle and is certainly a lot cheaper than the in-airport hotel. The room was modern and pleasant to the eye, and although I got the cheapest possible rate, it was a very spacious room with queen-size bed, desk, nice Desktop in which has, amongst others, varieties TV program channel Bloomberg and BBC World but no CNN. The bathroom was a strange concept, part of the bedroom yet it isn't - I think it was a great design, but probably not ideal for those with young kids.
Internet is not chargeable - there's an in-room Ethernet cable and supposedly a wifi connection.

Great location in Hanoi old Quater Street !
I have always enjoyed a warm and friendly welcome from the Staff and Management, with ready assistance when needed or sought. The location is most suitable with easy public transport access, shopping outlets, dining places and churches for religious services on weekdays and weekends. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and quiet. Overall stay though is great, hotel is very close to transport, shops, restaurants, and the room is very comfortable. We were also allowed to check out late, with minimal fee, without any hassles.
The Facilities for electronic device for example: like to rechargeable butteries are enough. many options for some device at once ! With some changes, Integrated WiFi Internet Connection, LAN cable for all rooms ,we are able to access the Internet anywhere at Hotel inside, also has the Telephone IP via Internet broad band which is cheapest price. I was very satisfied with our stay at the hotel. I will stay in this hotel again next time we visit Hanoi,
