Excellent hotel
Close to main station and old part of the City.
Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

Basic decent hotel with excellent location
I’m emotionally overwhelmed by my trip to Zurich where I have stayed at St. Josef for 4 nights straight. Based on the reviews I have booked at St Josef far in advance, so I got to receive a nice deal, which actually did worth it. I had an adequate clean and pretty spacious for European standards room, with en-suite bathroom that was adequately sized as well. The general appearance and décor of the room was minimal but decent.
The best two points of the hotel though, are St. Josef’s location, which is right in the city center, with everything and anything near by or within a quick walk, and breakfast – which offered a good quality of ample breakfast selection that was well sufficient. Other than that, the reception staff spoke various languages which was impressive, yet, not overwhelmingly friendly or welcoming.
All in all, St. Josef is a decent basic hotel excellently located to a tourist convenience. I would definitely recommend St. Josef if you are fine with minimalist yet decent accommodation with the best location to be found in Zurich.
