Steigenberger Park Hotel, a historic and elegant hotel dating back to the early 1900’s, is a welcome respite. In the heart of Düsseldorf and across the street from the opera, the hotel was ideally situated for a visit to the central part of town. Owned by the Steigenberger chain, it offered a combination of charm, experienced and efficient staff, and a great location.
The lobby and common areas are posh with an old Europe feel. The rooms are stylish and quiet, a valuable commodity in any city center. The bathrooms are modern looking and spotless. Menuett, the highly rated restaurant in the lobby, makes the visitor's stay more enjoyable. |

* Lobby and common areas are furnished partly with antiques in a classic European style. In addition to the elevator, there is a staircase connected the floors. The lobby is bright and welcoming, flanked on one side by a bar and a lounge on the other.
* Amenities include inroom bathrobes, valet parking, parking, and shoe shine service.
* Facilities are; Etoile lounge, bar, Menuett Restaurant, summer terrace (May-September) and meeting rooms
* Menuett, a gourmet restaurant, is open to hotel guests and the public. Room service is another option.
* There are nine conference rooms for up to 350 people and 265 square meters. Equipment available included; cd player; overhead projectors; isdn lines; mobile catwalk (12 square meters); cordless microphone; dual slide projector; fax connection; flip chart; tv; pc; video recorder; and wireless lan. |

* The quiet and comfortable “comfort plus” rooms are decorated in peach and bronze colors. They have high ceilings and faced an inner courtyard. The rooms offer much needed silence. Furniture includes a desk in one corner, a night table on each side of the bed, a dresser and television. At the entrance to the room and in front of the entrance to the bathroom, there is a closet with full-length mirrors on the doors and an electronic safe inside.
* There are renovated contemporary European style bathrooms with attractive marble tile floor was adjacent to the entrance to the room. They include a bath and shower combination with half a door enclosure. |
