Good location for budget hotel
This hotel is in a great location, with shops, groceries and food just around the corner. It is also a very quick walk to the royal palace, fine art museum and avenue louise and not too far to the main sights in the centre of the city. It also has a lift which is convenient when you are not on the ground floor. Although the room was obviously equipped for smokers it was not at all opressive with the smell of smoke. The heater was also very effective.
However be under no illusions that this is a budget hotel so the decor is a bit mish-mash and we were unable to close our bathroom door. The staff is however very friendly and were always happy to accomodate requests for extra linen etc. There also seems to be a bit of work going on at the upper floors so there are workers moving about, and the electricity was turned off at mid morning during our stay in late March 09.

Great location, comfortable stay...
I stayed at Sun Hotel for 2 days in March 2008. The hotel is ideally located around 10 minutes walk from the central railway station. It is also within walking distance to the famous Grand-Palace. The hotel is located near a quiet street close to Avenue Louise and Chaussée d'Ixelles which are famous shopping disticts in Brussels. The room i booked was a cosy and comfortable room with satisfactory facilities. The hotel has a decent atmosphere and the staff is very polite and helpful. I had a nice stay at this hotel and do recommend it.
