delightful stay
we stayed at the swan hotel at Newby Bridge in March 2007. and had a fantastic time, the location is wonderful, on the doorstep of the lake district and yet so close to the motorway. We thought the food was marvellous inparticular, huge yorkshire puddings with the roast dinners and great puddings. The hotel is immaculate and clean, the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help, especially with our baby. we will visit the hotel again soon, and are looking forward to using the pool again, each morning we were the only users so our baby could fully enjoy the facilities. |

Just beautiful and the best ever service
I got married at the swan 2 weeks ago and the whole day was perfect. The location is breath taking, the room was beautiful, the food was delicious and best of all (except from my partner) was the service. Every member of our family and friends received VIP treatment. The rooms were lovely, the views were great and best of all were the hotel products which to be honest I couldn’t resist popping in my bag for my honeymoon. I can’t recommend the hotel highly enough for a wedding venue or even a little break away. My one tiny criticism if I had to make one would be that the pool is a little small but other than that the hotel scored top marks in my book and id like to say thanks to Leanne for taking such good care of us. |
