Such a lovely hotel!
I recently arrived from a 3-day vacation to Bern, Switzerland and was happy with the accommodation we got from Swiss Quality Hotel Metropole. This hotel is perfect for first-time tourists because the rates are very affordable and it has a convenient location. The main station is just a few minutes away from the hotel which made it easier for us to get around the city. The old town is also walking distance from the hotel where we got to enjoy sightseeing because that's where some of the main attractions can be found such as the Cathedral and the clock tower. The room is not that big but comfortable enough to sleep in. The bed was not too soft which was good for my mom's back. There is TV and a small desk where we can eat. Included in our room rate is breakfast buffet for two which was delicious and there were lots of choices too so we got to try out different breakfast combination everyday. Swiss Quality Hotel Metropole does not have a gym but we were offered to use their sister hotel's fitness center. We actually did not visit it since we felt we worked out a lot from walking. Crap Hotel
Room was so small that claustrophobic person will had problem. Hot water, yes after 10 min of dropping of cold one ... breakfast old bred, watery eggs nothing to choose from ... only thing is that hotel is in the center of the town.
