* Le Grand Quai:
All the splendor of the Belle Epoque awaits diners here whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The walls are enlivened by gentle trompe l'oeil rural scenes, heavy red and gold taffeta drapes hang voluptuously from the ceiling and all lit up by a grand chandelier. In summer tables are also set up outside on the cobbled square. Cuisine is mainly classical French.
* Bar:
This quiet low lit piano bar opens onto the right side of the lobby, separating it from the Le Grand Quai restaurant. Guests plunge into leather armchairs or perch on a bar stool, gently accompanied in the evening by a some melodious tinkling on the grand piano.

We were in Geneva in the middle of a 100 degree heat wave. Everyone was grumpy. Windows smashed in the G-8 riots were unrepaired. Rude graffiti was everywhere. Streets were dirty. My husband's luggage was lost. We were not happy campers. The Hotel Metropole wa...
I stayed at the swissotel for 1 night.Was lucky enough to get a lake view room, which was lovely and had a tv in the bathroom!
breakfast was lovely and all the staff were very helpful.
Would definatley stay again, excellent location as well.
I have just got back from a weekend away to Geneva. This was my first visit to this city and I have come back being very impressed, not only by the beautiful scenery, but also by the hotel.
From the moment we arrived, concierge could not do enough for us, too...
