Oct 25, 2007 Established in 1960, the Tegnerlunden Hotel blends modernity and tradition to the best advantage of the guests. The hotel is bordered by enchanting turn-of-the-century buildings, which adds to its old-world charm. However, the hotel itself is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

This 3-star is situated in the heart of Stockholm, near the City Hall and a verdant park. This park once housed the Barnhus mill; however, the ambient greenery and freshness now imparts a sense of rejuvenation to the residents of the hotel who stay in the rooms facing the park area.

The Tegnerlunden Hotel’s central location makes its accessible from any part of the Swedish capital. It is a 10-minute walk from the Stockholm Central Station and just a block away from the Drottninggatan shopping street.

LOCATION

The Tegnerlunden Hotel is located at the City Center, uphill from the Central Station. It is at a walking distance from most of Stockholm’s tourist attractions, including the quaint Old Town, the magnificent Royal Palace as well as the National Gallery. The Wasa Museum, Amusement Park, Shansen Zoo and Gustav Adolf's Torg, are all located close by. Galleries, concert venues and boating facilities to the archipelago are within walking distance as well.
