All buildings are in the tree canopy, providing a magical and unobtrusive relationship with the natural world surrounding them.
The timber deluxe bungalows sit on high poles and look through the tree canopy. All bungalows have views either to the ocean or the forested mountains. Time spent relaxing on the timber decked verandahs is always well rewarded by sightings of birds, butterflies or at night, possums and sugar gliders.

* There are 85 rooms and a suite in Thala Beach Lodge. The bungalows at the Thala Beach Lodge are of three categories. These are Eucalypt bungalows providing you the balcony view of the lush greenery outside. When you remove the curtains in the morning you can find the trees to be almost painted in rainbow colors and your room filled with chirping. From the Coral sea bungalow you get the most exotic view of the ocean with the mountain and the landscaped garden. You can often find one or the other form of indigenous Australian marine life at your leisure. Sandpiper bungalows overlook both the private beaches of the resort and have a private balcony and lounge along with a spacious bedroom.
* All the rooms are luxuriously furnished with cozy beds and soothing lights and superb interior décor mixing timber and granite. Flowers in the vases add extra color to the rooms.

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of Thala Beach Lodge Hotel Cairns.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
