The Ben Doran is located in central Edinburgh, right on the A701, with an excellent bus service to the city centre. It has its own private parking with views of renowned Edinburgh architecture and beautiful hillsides from every room. The owners pride themselves on their good hospitality and guests are assured of a warm welcome throughout the year.
All bedrooms have recently been completely refurbished. The rooms are charmingly decorated, cosy and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect, including colour television, clock/radios with alarms, hairdryers, central heating, tea/coffee free and available at all times, iron available on request.
Box lunches and dinner are available on request. Edinburgh offers a vast choice, and for those who do not want to venture too far in the evening, there are many restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance.
The traveller will find a unique variety of historical and exciting new attractions blending together to create a rich and vibrant atmosphere that only Edinburgh can supply. Edinburgh Castle, the new Scottish Museum, Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth, the Royal Mile, University of Edinburgh, The Royal Commonwealth Swimming Pool (Olympic standard) and golf courses are all within comfortable walking distance. |
