Designed by reputed architect Geoffrey Bawa, the main theme for the hotel is his artistic use of water which gives Blue Water its name. It offers a spectacular view of the sea, and stands amid a cool cluster of coconut palms that line the water and throw shadows into its scintillating blueness. It languishes in a lush green coconut palms garden where you can sooth your senses by the sounds of cascading ponds and fountains.
