Very disapointed!

It seems that me & my wife were given the worse room in the hotel: the door handle was broken, the room wasn't warm enough... We couldn't use the shower or tap water as the water was brown! We told the receptionists but they didn't seem to care much! Won't come back again & definitely don't recommend it! David Fox.

I stayed at the Burlington in the Concierge level for one week; it was absolutely wonderful. Delicious breakfasts with lox, a cappuccino maker, and such were available every morning and cocktail hour was fabulous. The rooms were perfect. The nightclub was incredible, and I was impressed by the level of security within the hotel after the nightclub let out. We had to give our name and room number, which was checked accordingly. It made me feel secure that a bunch of non-guests was not running around the hotel in the early hours. When I go back to Dublin, I will be staying at the Burlington, hopefully on the Concierge level!

Checked in to executive floor room to find someone else's mouldy leftover sandwiches in a cupboard, and a dirty linen hanky under the clean towel in the bathroom. Yukk. Not much interest at reception when I reported it, and no adjustment to the bill. 4* I don't think so. On the plus side, good night at the night club.

Spent 24TH-28TH December 2003 at the Burlington. Free room upgrade without request was much appreciated. Hotel and staff were fantastic and we couldn't have been made more welcome. Only criticism would be that the hotel had no entertainment over the period and that Dublin pubs seemed to all be closed on Christmas Eve. Otherwise very enjoyable and would happily return - the diet starts tomorrow!!
