Small rooms, no pool
2 night stay. Room was very small, although nicely decorated and comfortable. Very small bathroom, just enough room to get in but have to shut the door to turn around! Not enough room to swing a cat! There is no pool at the moment which was not made clear and was very annoying, as this was one of the reasons for chosing this particular hotel. Would I stay here again, probably not!

Pros & cons
Standard twin room April 15 - 17
Pros:
Beautifully refurbished everything good quality, clean, power shower, central location, nice breakfast, slippers & bathrobes (although much too large for us), staff mostly polite & helpful
Cons:
Extremely small bathroom, no bath, very small room, twin beds were pushed together with no room to separate, closely overlooked by several other rooms, very dark to the point of feeling oppressive and we struggled to read

We are very satisfied with our long stay in hotel (11 nights). We got a big room and all was perfect. The stuff was very friendly and polite. The breakfast was also good. The service was exelent. To my birthday the administration gave us a present - wine and fruts. The hotel is wonderful located to the city center.

My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay at the Jurys Clifton Ford, and we highly recommend it. The rooms are smallish, but very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was very nice, especially for a moderately priced London hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the bar downstairs was wonderful. The restaurant was a bit over priced, but the food was good. The location is convenient to the tube, and there is an abundance of shopping opportunities nearby.
Everything combined made for a perfect stay. I will definitely stay there again.

I stayed at the Clifton Ford Hotel for 9 days with my family in August of 2000. The rooms are small but beautifully appointed and the staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Located in the heart of London, the hotel provides easy access to many attractions in the city. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting London.

This was my first trip to London, but not the first for the company with whom I visited. We read the reviews of those who felt that this was nowhere near what they were expecting. Yes, the rooms were small ( but who stays in you room when you are a traveler), but they were nicely appointed with the amenities that one expected. Our first love was the wonderful lounger and public parlor areas of the hotel. The service we received in the lounge was more than we had expected. Them menu in the restaurant was limited and was listed for the month, however the "continental" breakfast surpassed anything we had ever experienced in the "States". The concierge, Salvatore, provided us with the best seats in the house at the theatres for a magnificent performance of "Mamma Mia","Chicago", and "The Msousetrap". We were informed by a group of conventioniers that this area of London contained the most concentrated group of excellent restaurants in all of London-as we soon experienced. This was my first London experience, and I must say, it won't be my last at the Clifton Ford.

We stayed at Jury's Clifton Ford hotel for a long weekend, and could not recommend this hotel more.
We often travel to London and have tried many hotels. We often use websites to book the hotel and so you are never to sure what to expect when you arrive. This time we got it right and for the cost of the room it was the best we have ever stayed in.
