This hotel is great for short visits to Bergen. Excellent location, I found it quiet by night, but just around the corner from all the city activities and attractions.
The food is really good and you will find tea making facilities in the rooms, which is rather unusual, probably a result of the many British groups staying here too.
The most important detail - staff are really friendly and helpful.
I used to stay at this hotel and many more as a tour guide, so when I compare it to hundreds of others, it still remains one of my very favourite city centre hotels.

stayed here last summer and found it comfortable and perfectly positioned for exploring Bergen on foot. Convenient parking too a bonus. Rooms were simple but well equipped, and we had a lovely view over the harbour Best of all was the amazing buffet breakfast- sufficient to keep us going until evening which is a bonus in a country where food is so expensive. Would highly recommend it as also good value for money
